Thanks very much to all of you who attended our joint event with Kent Union on the subject of funding to higher education.
The panel speakers on the issue were Julian Brazier, MP for Canterbury and Whitstable; Usman Ali, NUS Vice-President (Higher Education); and Owen Lyne, branch deputy secretary of the University and College Union and a lecturer at the University of Kent.
A high turnout, an engaged audience, strong performances from our panelists, and free food and wine made for a successful evening.
